I just fed mine some chopped shrimp and shrimp shells atop a bowl of rice. They loved it.

When I was an exchange student in France my host family had chickens. I learned all kidns of chicken vocabulary. One thing I also learned was "Guarde-ca pour donner au poulailler!"

It means, "Save that to give to the chicken (coop)!"

Those chickens ate shrimp shells, picked bones clean, got cheese rinds, and more. Now mine do the same.
