Can they eat Strawberries???????

I read the chicken treat chart but I didn't see strawberries listed. Can chickens eat strawberries? Someone gave me a crate full of strawberries and I wanted to give the strawberries to them but I didn't see it listed on the treat chart.

Mine massacred my strawberry patch last year and every one of the fatties is still alive and hungrier than ever today, so I say it's probably alright for them to have.

I just fed some strawberries to my chicks that are growing out right now, they went crazy for them. Remember though, always give treats in moderation, not as a food source.

OH YEA!!!! Mine go insane when I give them some strawberry tops or some kinda
old ones.

But I will never feed them anything that is moldy

Oh yeah, chickens love strawberries. No mold, though.

I have a bunch of Checkerberries (Teaberries) that I was going to pick for the new chicks as a treat? Has anyone ever fed these to the chickens?

Yup. Mine are all red faced right now from eating the stems I cut off a bucket of them yesterday.
