Can they go into the coop yet?

I have purchased my first flock of chicks and they are just now 4 weeks old. I was wondering if it would be safe to put them in the coop. I would use a 250 watt red bulb in my heat lamp. I am weary about using an extension cord though. Is it safe? The night temps are anywhere from 30 to 50 degrees and the day time temps are from 50 to 70 degrees right now. I would love the input!

Okay thanks everyone! I'll probably keep them out tonight because it'll be sunny and hot most of this week!
