Hi everyone
My chicks are now almost 5 weeks and need to get them into the tractor. I hung a guarded 75w bulb in there and was only able to keep around 50 degrees last night.
I also have a 250w but I am worried about a fire hazard with the straw in there. I know it will keep them warm enough but I don't want to loss them to an accident.
Will 50 degrees be warm enough? If not, not a big deal but I've learned from my grown ones that chickens are alot hardier then people give them credit for. LOL
Thanks for the responses and I appreciate all the help and really love this forum.
