Can they have currants

Is it ok to give currants to chickens and ducks. I have tons of them and do not need any more for canning. I hate to see them go to waste. I thought if they can have them i would freeze a bunch and use them as a treat for them over the winter.

I gave mine some currants but they didn't really care for them.
