Can they live "next door" to chicken coop?

I have a chicken coop. If I want to build a quail coop next to it (attached but no visibility to each other), is this bad? If yes how far apart do they need to be?

I think you should ask the member who started this thread. Quail and chickens don't mix.

I read but that member had one chicken or more in the same cage.
Mine would be in separate cage but share same wall (not wire).

What I would suggest you do, is find a good site that lists all the common poultry diseases. Then read about how the diseases are transmitted. If you still feel like it's a good idea then go for it.
