can they?

That's horrible. Its been high 70s here for quite awhile although they are saying we are supposed to get a frost Sunday. I just hope they are wrong. I agree the weather needs to make up its mind already.

My ducklings and goslings are still fuzzy but getting big. I started them with an inch or so in the tub once a day. (yes and disinfected after) They loved it. Gradually I went up an inch or so and fed them shredded spinach in the water, also a big hit. Yesterday for the first time I put them in an outside day pen with a low bin of about 5-6 ish inches of water. I put stones in the bin with the water and stones at the bin edge, I think I used a brick as well. Once they got over the fear of the stones they were having a blast going in and out of the bin with out a problem. I hope my endeavors have helped you in your decision.

Hum I am still new at this it was supposed to be a response to the person wondering weather or not to give their fuzzy ducklings water play.

You have goslings? What kinds?

LOL I don't really know yet. The ducks and geese were part of a 'start up' type pack from the breeder. So they were breeders pick. I am anxious for them to get in feathers so I can find out what kind they are. I have a pair of each and they are wonderful friends already. The dominate gosling seems to be their protector and the group follow it every where. It seems to have added to the fun not knowing just what breed they are.

Omg my neighbor is so rude! I had the worst day today. Go out to feed the big girls and there is two eggs! I get all excited give special treats I am so excited I'm looking like a kid on Xmas getting my eggs out. Run inside take pictures. They went and got eggs from someone else who has adult chickens and put them in there! It was funny and I did laugh but rude!
