Thanks for this post everyone.
I have 3 birds that came from a 1st grade field trip. The teacher then took another 36 eggs back to the class. I took the baby chicks home on weekends and she kept the eggs. Well, the older birds are now ours.......lol......and out of the 36 eggs, only 4 hatched. Sadly, one baby drowned in the waterer and my son came home yesterday to tell me that another little one just quit eating and had died. So sad. So now there are two remaining chicks.
Here is the actual question -- LOL
They are all "mutts" and I have no idea what type they are. They are all from the same "ranch" but are different ages, w/the first three about 3 weeks older than the other two. I have plans to bring the babies home this weekend. How should I do the introductions? Should I wait until these babies are older? Should I introduce them right away?
Keep them close but in separate cages? OR......not do this?!? (The kids will be so upset if I choose to not take them home.)
OH and these two are different in color; both from one another and the first three.

TIA!!
Cheers,
Stacy
