Can turkey poults use a heat plate?

I will be getting 5 turkey poults next week, and I am wondering if the poults can use a heat plate (the type chicks go under). I know that turkey poults like to have a warm brooder, so does a heat plate provide enough warmth, or should I use a light?

I am also thinking of using a Brinsea ecoglow50 for 13 poults I am getting in a few weeks. They are going in a brooder out on the patio so I can keep an eye on them. I am in FL so its pretty warm here but we have had a few nights in the 50F. Days are typically 80's-low 90'sF this time of yr.

I used a Mama heating pad cave for 2bbb, some heritage chicks and 5 CX just fine. Later 4 heritage poults.
The poults stayed under longer than the chicks
