Can turkeys be crossed with peafowl ? I heard peafowl were used for meat in the past but they have been left behind by the more meaty turkey, but what about a cross between the two ? Can they be crossed ? And will i get a good meat bird ?

I know someone who has a turkey (don't know what breed) and Indian Blue peafowl cross. Apparently the bird is not fertile. I do not know, however, about how much meat you would get. I must have seen it and just not realized it as they keep it with their turkeys and peafowl in one enclosure. I assume it was about the size of the peafowl.
