Can U Get Eggs from USA to Canada? & Vice Versa

I was just wondering if it is legal to buy any poultry eggs from Canada if you are in the US and vice versa? I have not done so...I was just wondering.

it takes LOTS of paper work and time - months of testing, approval from various agencies. and you both have to be npip!

it's worth it to get a breed or standard like lav orpingtons or chocolates

Canada is and END-free country. To import hatching eggs, it is a short permit application, and the shipper has to have a government veterinarian provide a health certificate.

Not a huge deal, IMO.
