can u just make a hen go broody

My silkie went broody without anything in the nest box last year. Are they old enough? give it time they will when it warms up alittle and the days get longer.

I have a hen that is 100% broody all year and will hatch anything! She's a machine. my silikies also brood as long as they are laying.

Want mine! LOL She is broody 24/7 and a very good mother too. Seems like if there are eggs sitting she does end up sitting on them and going broody
