I posted my temperature might have been up to 103 or 104...
I'm worried my eggs are dead. Hatch day is tomorrow. No movement or peeping/chirping.
I was told to float the eggs in warm water, and if chicks are alive inside, the eggs will "bop" in the water.
I tried it today, no bopping.
I ended up finding more fertile eggs today, most of which are freshly laid. However, she added "extras" which include older eggs, as old as 3/31.
Has anyone experienced adding new, fertile eggs while other eggs are in "lockdown"?
I wonder if I can put them in now, instead of waiting a day or two, and just make sure I only turn the new eggs, and don't touch the ones hatching.
I know the humidity changes, so would this not be a good idea and I should wait, or would it work?
Any thoughts?
