Can you add new fertile hatching eggs during lockdown?

I posted my temperature might have been up to 103 or 104...
I'm worried my eggs are dead. Hatch day is tomorrow. No movement or peeping/chirping.
I was told to float the eggs in warm water, and if chicks are alive inside, the eggs will "bop" in the water.

I tried it today, no bopping.

I ended up finding more fertile eggs today, most of which are freshly laid. However, she added "extras" which include older eggs, as old as 3/31.

Has anyone experienced adding new, fertile eggs while other eggs are in "lockdown"?

I wonder if I can put them in now, instead of waiting a day or two, and just make sure I only turn the new eggs, and don't touch the ones hatching.

I know the humidity changes, so would this not be a good idea and I should wait, or would it work?

Any thoughts?

It's not a good idea! Just wait to make sure none hatch from your other batch first. You won't hear any peeping until they've internally pipped, anyway, and that doesn't usually happen until a day before they hatch. I'd just let be at this point and see what happens.

Two or three more days is not going to hurt an egg that's already been sitting around since March 31st. lol But opening that incubator and adding new eggs will definitely hurt any chicks that might be ready to hatc.

ive had temperature issues with the thermostat, being too high, so, i've already had it open to get the temperature cooler to back around 100. (It was higher around 102-103 earlier).

so, temperatures have already gone crazy high. its just now back down, with only 1 day left of hatch.
