Can you believe it's the same chicken?

I don't have any pictures like this, but wow, Roopecca sure has changed!
Yes he surely has!
What was wrong with her? I have a lavender orpington pullet that is about 7 months old and looks swollen in the front such as the first pic. She eats like crazy and acts normal but the swelling does worry me. Is there something you did to change that in your bird?
As reference here is a picture of Roopecca's brother Marvin one year ago. They hatched the same day.

Roopecca was thought to be a pullet (named Repecca) for obvious reasons until SHE crowed about 2-3 months later. HE has never roosted and has some difficulty walking the ramp due to pigeon toes, and with help from the people here I was able to determine he had sour crop due to a pendulous crop. All of that on top of being a late bloomer! I learned how to treat it and he now wears a chicken bra to support his crop.
I agree you should post pictures of your bird showing her (or his) profile, crop, posture, and anything else. Are you sure its a pullet? I was so upset when I heard his first crow I cried! I had already rehomed hos brother Marvin because I didn't want a rooster. I have kept Roopecca but won't be hatching any of his offspring. I don't want the crop issues to continue down the family line.
You'll get good advice here.
