Can you breed easter eggers

Opinions vary, but I think most in here would agree that crossing Easter eggers with other breeds will give you more Easter eggers.

For me, personally, Easter eggers have certain traits linked to laying blue/green/olive eggs. Pea combs, beards, green legs, medium weights. Once you get too far away from that I think the birds are just simply mixed breeds.
I’m definitely smelling what ya stepping’ in! I’ll have to agree with you 💯. Otherwise, go get a EE rooster and whatever kind of other breeds you like and breed away. They’re all EEs! Yay! You get a Easter Egger, you get a Easter Egger and so on. Yeah, you get my point. I just wanted to insert that question and it felt like the right place.

Maybe a more specific question would be this. Can I breed any chicken to an Easter Egger and then that offspring be considered a full on true EE since they are considered mutts already?
In my opinion, if the Easter egger x lays blue or green eggs, than you would be totally correct to call that an Easter egger. However, if the Easter egger x doesn’t lay blue or green eggs (or you don’t know the egg color, like in the case of roosters) then that would be an EE mix/mixed breed.
