Can you can eggs?

I see eggs in jars at the store so can it be done at home? I like pickled eggs and beets but at this point I don't really care, I just want them in jars. I have about 6 dozen in the fridge so I have plenty to experiment with.

You can pickle eggs using vinegar and beets. We used to do this all the time when I was a kid growing up.
