LOL. Me neither. But I'm just sayin'.... maybe if you didn't plan on eating the staphy feet.... you could eat the rest of the chicken...? ...if you were really hungry....? ....

Just got back from the store. Bought cod for dinner. Pretty sure cod doesn't have feet, thus no bumblefoot.

Imp- Is there such a thing as bumblefin?

not sure whatvu mean about bumblefoot but if ur meaning crooked toes .......well He!!! I'll eat it cuz I don't eat da feet , I 've had a few turkeys with crooked toesI try to fix them as young birds but no surprice they still end up bend up and crooked but we still atee the buggers but no feet for us .....still taste MMMMMMMM-GOOOD ....

I wouldn't eat the feet either. I have bought chicken from grocery stores for years and don't have any idea how many of them could have had bumblefoot, heart attacks or whatever. I would be surprised if sudden death birds didn't just get processed. At least if you eat what you raised yourself with one of those problems you know about it. Is there a difference?

Does a possible heart attack or sudden unexplained death damage the meat itself? I am curious about this as I am considering raising a round of meat birds and would appreciate thoughts on this.

Edit: Oops. I didn't notice this was an ancient thread. Sorry.
