CAN YOU EVER REALLY HAVE TOO MANY CHICKENS?

I was referring to the title...CAN YOU EVER REALLY HAVE TOO MANY CHICKENS?
My siggy says 75 (so far)...
My problem is deciding what to do with them. I just can't bear to get rid of any!!

I'm sorry to have to be the one to say it ......... BUT YES........you can have too many chickens!!!!!!
I just recently discovered my limit .....(long story) but i did and it forced me to realize that i need a few more silkies to cheer me up from the terrible realization.

We started off with One stray Hen that showed up in our yard 2 years ago and starting roosting in the trees and laying under them . NOW we hav close to 100 in our flock with More that will hatch next week , SO I have to say NO .

I have Rir's , barred rocks , Austrolops , Buff Orpingtons , game hens , and cochrin bantams .....

Oh and MISS FAMOUS HEN ( that started all of this ) , she is an ole english game bantam . and she will be a MOMMY next week .

Maddhatter says NO.

Well, my budget says yes, but my heart says heck no! I'm trying to figure out how I can keep hatching through half the winter without building more housing (not possible, I know, but there you are.) Ooooh, I'm building a loft above the coop part of my shed, maybe I can raise juvies there. lol

I'm also trying to decide if I want to raise turkeys, and yes, even guineas next year, though they would have to be thoroughly penned away from my neighbor's garden, so that adds another interesting layer.

My heart says "no."
My hubby says "Where the heck did you get this incubator thing that I found in the basement!?!"
