Can you feed a whole banana?

Can you give your chickens a whole banana, including the peel? I have been peeling and giving only the inside, but it would be so much easier to just toss in a whole banana.

Such luxury! Mine only get the peels. It's a sight to see a hen swallowing a banana peel.

If the fruit is ripe and soft whole ought to be OK.

I peel em and toss both parts out to the chickens. My birds are spoiled.

our chickens go mad, we had some that had gone past their best and they had gone in seconds, lol!
