Hi I a currently getting 1 male peacock and 2 females. Is it okay to feed them poultry layer pellets that are meant for ducks and chickens? Or do I need to mix game feed in there. Do I have to make a separate coop for the peafowl or can they live together.

Chicken layer will have upward of four percent calcium where peas should not have over 1.5% calcium. If you need to boost the calcium for your hens during breeding season offer oyster shell as the cocks are less prone to eat them. If you still get thin or rough shells then start feeding any type of broken eggshells as hens find them hard to resist.
