Can you feed them the raw "left overs" from butchering?

I would say YES I processed a hen the other day and I regret not giving my birds some of the leftovers.

Yes if the meat chickens are from your flock or been around past normal quarantine. I wouldn't just go to it with birds newly acquired, those guts are strictly dog treats.

Definitely keep the cleaned and peeled gizzard, the liver, the heart, the neck & head and the feet. Makes for the best chicken stock, ever!

Me personally do not feed chicken to chicken.
Two reasons:
1. Break the chain of any disease or parasite.
2. Morally opposed to cannibalism when other options are available.

My birds get left overs from processing other animals though.

I normally let the wild animals have my scraps that I don't save for the dogs, but I wouldn't be a bit opposed to the chickens eating them....I just don't like finding the scraps lying around the yard later.

It's good, clean protein for them and it doesn't cause them to become cannibalistic in any way.
