on the back of the meal worm package it says something like “feed as a treat only” but I’ve been mixing the mealworms with my duckling’s food. I also give them handfuls of mealworms every time I let them swim. Mealworms have a lot of protein so my question is; can you feed your flock too much protein or mealworms? Is this unhealthy or healthy?

Oh no! I hope they're all right. I'll stop immediately.
you might want to do that slowly, they get used to the protein/fat. They will feel hunger if you stop suddenly.

In summer they can get worms and bugs outside, so I give less, in winter they need a little fat (and, really, a little fun too) so i float some in the water bowl.
