Thanks for reminding me, these two boxes have been sitting in a drawer here for so long I really can't remember when I bought them. Five, six years ago, maybe more... originally I bought 3 boxes, but only made it through one.
About the Bertie Bott's, the idea from the books was that every flavor would be represented, not just popular ones. Now personally, I love licorice, buttered popcorn, and toasted marshmallow along with root beer and green apple. On the odder side, black pepper, dirt, and grass were all very good. Vomit was disgusting. And soap... well, if you ever had your mouth washed out as a kid, you already know what that tasted like.

For freezing them... stick with the fridge, they'll last just as long, won't get quite so solid, and won't turn to goo when you are ready to eat them.
