Hey guys, I'm new here so I apologize if I broke any rules here I didn't see. I know you guys probably see this a lot, but I figure you guys are experts at this point :) I have a royal palm turkey though that I am trying to get an idea of sex. I have 7 actually, but the other 6 are quite a bit younger than this particular one. I have only sexed a turkey when they are on the business end of a 12 gauge during a spring turkey hunt, so by then its easy work, but this is my first time owning turkeys as pets (for food/pet). Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!

Edit:
The snood is smaller at the moment, when its with the other chicks it tends to get almost a little swollen looking/kind of looks like it wants to start to fall to the side a bit. He/She also struts pretty hard, but I have seen Hens come into my calls that would mostly strut with some of the toms. I haven't heard it attempt a gobble, but my wife swears she has

2nd Edit:
He/She is probably around the 3-4 months old mark, I think closer to 3

I am thinking more like two months old. By 3 or 4 months old it should be able to be sexed from photos and this one isn't quite there.

I am leaning towards a young tom from the shape of the retracted snood but the lack of caruncle development looks more like a hen.

You could very well be right on the age. We were calculating based off the feed store telling us that it was close to 6 weeks old when we bought it, but as I compare pictures of it then to the 6 poults I have right now that I know for sure are closer to 3 weeks old I believe he/she wasn't nearly as old as they said.

For caruncles it has one developing that is about pinky nail size at dead center at the base of the neck that you cant see in the pictures but thats about it

Here is an update as they are getting a little older. Hopefully the pics give you guys a better idea :). I'm trying to get a good sense of what we have so I know who is going to become food haha. Thank you guys for the help!
