Can you guess the breed of my hen?

She is a Welbar, so she does have Welsummer in her. She is half Welsummer and half Legbar
I believe these are what hatcheries are calling Partridge Olive Eggers.😊

  • The Welbar was developed by H. Humphreys of Eastwrey, Devon in the 1940’s.

  • The breeding programme used the Welsummer and the Barred Plymouth Rock and initially there were problems in fixing the plumage and the size and shape of the birds.
  • Both gold and silver varieties were developed and it was the silver variety that was described in the standard.
 
I like the crele colour, all the barred duckwing autosexing lines kindof look the same. Welbars are autosexing, if they were just a cross theyd be sexlinked 🤟.. Some might think the hens arent as showy as the males on these crele lines but I find the females colour really beautiful and trippy lol
