I bought them at my local tractor supply two weeks ago Tuesday.they couldn't tell me what breed they were or even what gender. Was just curious as to what I ended up with. Don't know if these pictures are any help, they were being stubborn and didn't want to stand up or hold still

The one in the second picture looks like a blue swedish and the second one might be a pekin. Its hard to tell in the picture. I understand though about the ducklings not wanting to stay still, I feel like mine had 24/7 hour functioning motors! You will start to hear a change in their voices usually by 6 weeks, girls probably earlier. Girls will start to honk and males will continue to peep longer until they get a raspy sort of quack.

The one you said may be a peking, I think it may be a girl cuz it honks occasionally. It still chirps for the most part but it seems like when it wakes up from Naps or first thing in the morning Itll give little honks. Thought it could also be dry mouth since its just waking up Haha.

Wow, did you steal my ducks?! They look almost EXACTLY like mine that I got from TSC a couple weeks ago, lol.

Do they stand upright most of the time? If so, they're likely runners, possibly fawn and white (I'm about 80-90% that's what mine on the left is) If not, yours with the pinker bill could be a pekin. Your darker billed one has a way darker bill than my "mystery" duck, although hers is turning very bluish-purple. Mine's head is also kind of dusky like yours. I started a thread a few days ago asking for possibilities; one we landed on was a buff duck. Maybe yours could be a welsh harlequin as well?

Gender at such a young age is nearly impossible unless you know how to vent sex properly. Starting at about 3-4 weeks, the girls will start to randomly HONK, especially if they get separated or distressed. The boys transition from a peep to a soft raspy quack.
Gotta share my favorite little educational video again :) This is my little Turkey-bird (for some reason I never came up with a better name for her, lol). She demonstrates almost perfectly what you'll hear out of young girly ducks.

I think you have two types, I don't know what kind, exactly. I'll have to check around. One has a dark bill and darker appearance than the other. I don't think the one is Swedish, I think the shadow in the photo tricks you into thinking it is. It could be a runner or a welsh harlequin. Boy WH have dark bills, while girls have pink bills.

Thats so funny they look a lot a like! The light billed one Does seem to prefer being vertical most of the time, we definitely considered him being a runner. He stands very tall and is slender compared to the other
