Duck has large swelling on toe.

Hi folks, looking for advice on my duck, he has large swelling on toe. I thought when I saw it it would be bumblefoot but I can’t see any injury or mark like I have normally seen. Any ideas and advice would be appreciated.i have put pics up of his foot, Thanks

Could be a break or strain. Hopefully it heals up. I'd probably leave it be for now.

What's the black on top? Definitely could be a sprain. I'd let him get some rest and maybe swim time to help bring the swelling down. Keep an eye on it.

Thanks so much for replies. He’s in the house with a pal, she’s in a different cage. He gets Epsom salt baths so will see how he goes. Doesn’t seem that lame on it. Thank you all

Just wondering how it ended up turning out, I think I have a rooster with a similar issue as your duck
