Chicken foot swelling

I would continue doing the soaks. I know it's hard to tell: but do you feel like the foot is more swollen, less swollen, or the same? Is the swelling really soft and squishy, or does it seem like there's something hard in there?

My Poppy had a swelling in his toe, and there was a kernel of pus about the size of a large kernel of corn! By the time I got it out, it was very hard.

It seems less swollen from when I was checking him last night before I started doing the soaks. I'll have to check again after the soak in the morning, it seems squishy but I'm assuming that if the swelling were to go down any, it would feel much harder

I hope whatever it is he improves. Is he still walking normally?
He is walking normally, it's still swollen, I was poking it this morning and the side area is a little mushy as is the pad. Mushy as in not hard but I can press it in somewhat.
