Can You Hard Boil?

A goose or duck egg? When mine start laying I would love to hard boil a goose egg but not sure for how long.
 
yep, and they are tasty. There are guides on internet if you google it. I think we did our duck eggs slightly longer than chicken, but then they are larger and around 8 mins for goose.
 
Duck eggs are great. I generally just put them into warm tap water, put on the stove, and kind of forget about them. They probably boil 15 minutes, then I turn off the stove and let them just sit there for a while. Definitely hard boiled at that point.

I would be interested in trying a goose egg. Perhaps next year.
 
goose eggs are terrific, the taste isnt much different from a chicken egg in my opinion, the yolk is darker and with one egg u could make a omlette big enough for 3 people:D
