Need advice

Hello BYC Family!

My goose has started laying for about three or four weeks now. She already has about 18 eggs. I removed a few eggs a couple days ago. Anyhow, my goose doesn't seem interested in going broody. She simply keeps laying and laying eggs. Is there anything I could do to encourage her going broody?

Allowing her to build that clutch is all that you can do. I'd mark the older eggs and occasionally remove a few so that she does not try to incubate more than she can cover. She will go broody when her hormones tell her to.
