Anixe has changed a lot since then.​

Yes, it's confirmed. I busted him crowing this morning ~ a proper crow, not a funny teenage squawk.

He has a rather pleasant crow. Not too loud. Not too high pitched.
Not raucous like next door's thing.
The girls are keeping him in his place & Henry is ignoring him.​

Week 5.
Bellatrix had the chicks out this afternoon.
First time.
I hovered. The crows were also out & about.​

Bellatrix might be dominant but Mustard Seed is hanging in there.
The speckled one prefers her.
Pingu prefers Bellatrix. The 2nd frizzle alternates but I suspect more and more those 2 frizzles are male. Their combs are a little bigger & redder and they are the 2 always mock fighting.​

Meanwhile Anixe doing rooster duty while Henry lounged in the coop.

When the man mowed I raked up & tossed the hay into the run. Alpia is not the only one who enjoys making a nest in the sun & dozing away.​

They are so beautiful! I'm glad that the Frizzle gene came through.
