can you hatch snake eggs?

The temperature for balls is way low as compared to chicken eggs as well. But, some people have used hovabators (without turners of course) to hatch ball eggs.

I may get to find out if you can soon. smileI got my 9 y/o a pair of ball pythons for his b-day. The female is doing the stuff I was told she would before laying eggs. smile Keep your fingers crossed for me! smile

I'm glad you got him some balls! I remember speaking with you a while back about it when I had one for sale.

can somone give me a quick run down as to how long they incubate for and the temp & humidity levels and are there ever more than one in one egg?

There are various humidities and such depending on the snake. Twins can happen. I dont know if you ever found out, but no, you cant ship reptile eggs. If they get turned after incubation starts the babies will die. I incubated my Bearded Dragon eggs on my shelf, so they will incubate in room temperature. If you dont mind me asking, why are you wanting to hatch the babies instead of just getting a snake? They can be difficult to rehome and with multiple babies it can cost quite a bit.

Yes!!! And he is so happy with them! They aren't really great quality or anything....just your basic pet store balls, but we are just in love with them.

They are both extremely sweet natured. We lucked out BIG. A niece of a friend had to get rid of them (couldn't afford to feed them I think so they came to us a little thin) but we got the male/female pair, the large enclosure, a separate feeding cage and all accessories for $125.

Couldn't pass up that deal AND it just happened to be my kid's b-day.
