They had RIR and New Hampshires at my store today. They told me what they had when I called, so I looked up pictures of those two chicks before I went to the store.
Your light chicks look like they could possibly be New Hampshires. The RIR chicks have stripes on their backs and have a red tint where the NH are more of a light yellow color, but their wing feathers are coming in a tan color. Is that what yours look like?
