Ok, the story:
Got my hatchery order of RIRs and Barred Rocks, and fell in love. Coop plans were enlarged to accomidate a few more, and I was there bright and early for the local feed store's mixed straight run delivery the following week. I peered into that bin of 300 fuzzy little heads, and quickly realized I had no clue of the variety of chickens that were out there, or exactly what I was looking at. I ended up bringing home 4 little babies that I'm still trying to figure out.
I'm pretty sure they are all bantams. Three of them appear to be Brahmas (dark, maybe?), but one of those three has different coloring. Do Brahmas vary in color like this, or is this a different breed that also has fuzzy feet? And then there's our "Little Blue", as we've named her. Tiny and very vocal, this little one has wings that kind of stick out, a navy or gray tint to her feet, and a fuzzy head. Could she be a bantam Orpington maybe?
Anyone have any ideas?
Thank you much!
