Can you help me hatch my first batch of eggs

EMERGENCY. Is it normal to hear chirps inside the egg? I'm leaving right now and going to be gone for 3ish hours. what do I do? Only the head is inside the air cell.

Give it time, it's preparing to pip externally.

Yeah, it probably won't even pip while you're out. I would look into getting it some friends asap though.

probably thursday it will have friends. That's is when my chicken place gets other silkies.

After they internally pip they will start chirping. Not all of them chirp before external pipping but I find a lot do, especially when they have friends chirping. One chirps and the others reply.

The chick is now hatching. But why is the egg membrane still there but the shell is off.? There are holes all around though. Probably nothing. Also from what I've been examining it has some parts revealed and out for 2 hours now.
