Can y’all help me sex these two Easter Eggers? I’ve only had sex-links before but I wanted colorful eggs this year so I took a risk. They were sold to me as Ameracauna Pullets but I’ve always suspected one was a rooster since about a week old. The black one feathered faster so I originally thought she was a girl and the blue would be a boy. But now she’s acting aggressive and her tail feathers are so long so I’m not sure. The blue was the one I suspected is going to be a roo but he’s so gentle and his colors don’t seem roo like. I really hope he isn’t because I’ve gotten attached to him but can’t keep roosters.

Update: They’re 9 weeks old now. The silver and black one is still making me question it. It’s a mean little thing. Getting more red on the chest.

I had 5 easter egger hens (now 3) all have slightly different colorings so that’s not the best indicator but Roos typically get their comb rather quickly. I believe yours are hens
