why do chickens die??!! ugh i know why but im lways left crying being called a stupid farmgirl! my little mumble who i hatched nd reared in my room on his own went missin in october! v sad i hav never missed a person that much and often cry when i miss him! here he is and sorry for ur loss RIP Pippa

Bolina is gorgeous. Is she buff of red? we have a partridge silkie, poppy. she is such a doll. our other chickens run from us but she runs right up and wants to be held. She is molting, and has been or a while, so her head feathers are coming in. we have had her about a month, so we have no clue how long it takes to molt.
