Looks like a lave or possibly splash cochin... The tail and everything looks right on for a cochin... The baby looks tired.. I raise D'Uccles and cochins... It is not nearly upright enough to be a D'Uccle. No cheeks.... Very sweet little cochin baby.. Dropped wing could be tired... (looks tired) poor sweet thing.... You need to send it over to me for some kisses.

Don't know what your chicky is but it's beautiful and fair play to to you for having the compassion to give it a chance when it would have been just as easy (for some people at least!) to walk on by and ignore it's plight. Not enough people like that in the world in my opinion. Well done!
