Afternoon,
I finally got chickens again 2 weeks ago. One died in the first 24 hours and unfortunately due to significant storm damage shortly after (I don’t even want to talk about the DAYS that I was up every two hours with hot water bottles on less than week old chicks) I wasn’t able to get a replacement until today. The store only had “assorted pullets”. Some were definitely naked necks, which wasn’t really what I was after. I made a best guess on a good hen. I’m hoping for an Easter Egger, and it has a beard so that narrows it down a bit, but I’d love it if anyone had some ideas about the new addition. Thanks!

And if i'm correct about the breed, it looks to be a female as well. Sex links lay nice brown eggs, and are very docile. I have some!
It’s supposed to be a pullet. They had a bunch of different breeds/hybrids tossed together as “assorted pullets”. I wasn’t sure about any of them except the naked necks and I wasn’t really after those. The floof on the cheeks of this one was a deciding factor. I was hoping to get an idea of what it could be so I had some idea about how it will lay and the personality. Thank you for the help!
