Looks like it could possibly even be a Barred Rock with lighter colored feathers. Time will tell for us to have a better understanding of what exactly it she is.
It does look like a Pullet, but its also possible for it to be a cockerel that is showing signs of being on a bit late.

I ordered some baby chicks from a local feed store. One chick is different than the others. I am hoping for some feedback on this forum as to what breed this chick is or if it a pullet or cockerel. It’s supposed to be a blue australorp pullet- this chick is a different body shape and has different markings and different beak color which makes me think it could be a different breed (barred rock). Here are some photos at 16 days old. I can take better photos if needed. Thanks for the help!

They do look like my Blue Cuckoo Marans when they were young.

Definitely cockerel. Blue, single barred, light feathering on white skinned legs, so probably some French Marans in there (the French versions have feathered legs). He's going to turn out stunning!

I agree.

I think that may be an Olive Egger (those are the most common kinds of Marans mixes in stores), but of course a male is never going to lay eggs to confirm that :lol But if he is used for breeding, his daughters will inherit whatever egg color genes he has.
