Our girls aare starting to lay...we're at 4-5 a day now (out of 10 potential layers...). I know my 2 barred rocks are laying medium brown ones. That leaves....

1 cuckoo maran (bought her & was told she was still laying but I suspect she's an old maid)
1 buff orpington (same as above)
2 EE's (1 same as above except she laid green eggs for a few weeks then fizzled out)
    1 RIR
    1 black sex link
    1 white rock
    1 gold laced wyandotte

    2 muscovy ducks

are any of these likely to lay a very pale brown egg? they are larger than my BR's brown eggs, similar in size to grocery store bought "large grade A?" .. shells are very smooth & semi-gloss to shiny. Only other difference I notice is if I crack one, the yolk looks normal but the "clear" part is stark clear vs a yellow tint like my BR's have...

    Thanks!!

My black sex link has occasionally laid a pale brown/cream colored egg. Once I upped her calcium she started to lay eggs that were a soft tan color.
