Can you identify what is taking my chickens?

OMG someone help me please. I have fenced in my barn yard and even put up barbed wire, something is taking my ducks and chickens with no sign afterwards. Can someone please help me with this. I can't have a farm without ducks and chickens. We have coyotes, and I fixed it so that they cannot get into the barnyard. it happens at night and i dont' hear anything whatsoever. I am running out of ideas as to what to do. in one night i lost 17 birds all together.

Epona, a chicken is usually too heavy for a hawk to carry off. But my neighbor lost 1 chicken a day for a week before he put a game cam out. It was an eagle! No feathers left, no blood, no tracks of course. Right in broad daylight! Nothing he could do but keep his chickens penned up with a strong cover!

Hi there, thank you for the info. I do believe what was taking my stock was a great horned owl or two as this was happening during the night. I have ruled out all other predators and now I lock my flock up at night. No one has been missing for a week, thank goodness. Again thank you for the info and you could be correct as we do have eagles flying around during the day.
