Can you incubate eggs at 100 degreed Farenheight?

If I incubate eggs at 100F, will the hatch rate still be good? Thank you.
If everything else is good, you should get a good hatch rate. Nature was kind enough to give us a window that works well.

In a forced air incubator where the air is stirred up and the temperature is the same everywhere inside the "ideal" temperature is given as 99.5 F (37.5 C). In a still air or thermal air incubator there is no fan to mix the air. Since warm air rises where you take the temperature vertically matters. The general recommendation in one of these is 101.5 F (38.6 C) taken at the top of the eggs. So if you are taking the temperature in a still air at the top of the eggs it may be a bit low, but I'd still expect a decent hatch but they could be a day or two late.

If your average incubating temperature is a bit high they can be a bit early. If it is a bit low they can be late. A half of a degree difference will probably not have huge effect in the timing but it might be noticeable.

Good luck!
