Can you Incubate Turkeys with Chickens?

Hi,
I'm curious. Would I be able to put turkey eggs with chicken eggs? We are supposed to get our incubator on Monday and a few chicken eggs soon after that. I'd like to also hatch some turkey eggs and wondering if I have to wait for my chickens to hatch out first.

If you want them to hatch together turkeys take 28 days and chickens take 21 so I put turkey eggs in and then a week later add chicken eggs mine are due 4/23. I'm planning on keeping a few chicks with the turkeys for a week or less so the turkeys can learn to eat and drink without so much help from me.

yes, I do it all the time. Turkeys do like the humidity a bit higher, though it doesnt hurt the chickens in my experience. Like the other poster said, turkeys just take a week longer

Thanks everyone. Someone in our homeschool group Blessed us with an incubator so now we have two. I should have Turkey eggs and Chicken eggs coming Wednesday. We are soooo EXCITED!!!!
