can you make a hen go broody?

I had a silkie bantam hen who went broody and about a week later I had another one my brahma bantam so maybe it would work but as the others said it just depends on the hen

Its a Sussex that's sitting and the others that have been broody before is a silkie cross and a wyandotte bantam
