Can you mate a duck with a chicken. Please help

My juvenile rooster mated with a duck...well he mounded it..

A rooster may have gone through the motions but it wasn't mating as far as mating goes if you have ever seen a drake and duck mate. totally different than chickens mating.

A rooster cannot mate with a duck but a drake can mate with a chicken and it will kill her.

Ok I have heard that somewhere else, that a drake will kill a chicken

what duck breed to you guys recommend thats really small. A little smaller than a call.

I believe calls are the smallest duck breed, East Indies are small and I think Silkie ducks are small but I believe Calls are the smallest.
