Can you mix CORID and LS-50 for the first 5 days?

Strange drug that LS50. I see it's labeled for use in poultry 0-7 days old?
I'm betting it was developed specifically for the poultry industry.
I used to work in the animal health pharm industry.
I kinda doubt it is available OTC...or even thru a vet for BYC application.

It was OTC before 1-1-2017, but now it is prescription only. My feed store had it on their shelf in October of 2017.

Got taken off cause of the AB content.
Never heard it mentioned here, tho I don't follow the med threads much.
Recognize linco and spectino mycin's from working on the production and packaging equipment.

It was mentioned, but not very often.
Both the drugs in it are on this table:

There's no reason to treat healthy chicks with antibiotics; it's FINALLY been phased out OTC, which is a very good thing!
Amprolium at a lower dose in medicated chick starter is designed to control overgrowth of coccidia in new chicks. If they haven't been on the medicated feed, and are overexposed suddenly to enough coccidia to get sick, then the amprolium needed to treat them is at a higher dose.
Happily, they don't need lincomycin!
