You can house all the females together, no need to separate them. a rabbit hutch works, a pen, GREAT BIRDS

Seeing how there is practically no one who ships sexed quail chicks, if I hatched out 15, what could I do with the males? Freezer is not an option!

You can feed them UNMEDICATED Gamebird Crumbles from baby to adult-hood. I grind up in the blender oyster shell and add it to the mix (great for bone growth of babies and future layers).

As for bedding, they LOVE to dust-bathe (you are talking about the Japanese Coturnix, right?), pine shavings, Chinchilla dust, sand, anything works for them

Percyj you are talking to a weird person, I sell sexed chicks because I wait until they are 10 days old to ship. That way they make it ALL alive.
