Or should you pip an egg? I know there is the possibility that something is wrong with the chick. . . but just curious if anyone has done this? I'm about to enter day 22, and last night a barred rock hatched. There are 3 other eggs that were moving on day 15 and looked great, well, none of them have pipped. The chick of course is very lonely and I keep hoping the others will hatch too! Has anyone ever pipped an egg? Should I wait another day? I was thinking about candling them, but I don't want to damage them either. Am I just being too impatient?

Thoughts?

Can you? Yes. Should you? No.

You shouldn't even be opening the incubator at this point.

I wouldn't. I think you should just wait. They will be out sooner or later

Thank you. It's nice to have other people to prevent me from giving into temptation!
